Heather's 50th Birthday Bash

On Sunday, I had the pleasure of photographing a very special event - my mom's 50th birthday party! We decided to have a beach themed party, because our mom loves the beach. Emily made a DIY picture frame for us to use as a Photo Booth, and I bought the props for it. Below are the photographs I took -

Forgotten Photoshoot

Emily and I did this shoot on the fourth of July, and I had completely forgotten that I had these photographs. She's really giving me 90's vibes with this look - which is definitely something I want to explore further in the future (a full on 90's themed shoot). Enjoy!

Sunflower Maze Photoshoot

I have been wanting to take pictures in a sunflower field for a while, so when we found this sunflower maze I thought it was the perfect opportunity to do so. This sunflower maze was at Lyman Orchards, which I have a previous blog post on. Looking back on the photographs, I wish we were able to find an actual sunflower field and not a maze, so that the sunflowers were more close together. Here are some of my favorites from the shoot -

As you can see, the sunflowers here were pretty spread apart in a lot of spaces, I think the look of the shoot would have been better if 1) it was a bit sunnier outside and 2) the sunflowers were closer. Minus that though I think this shoot was fairly a success.
