Brady - Easter 2019
For Brady's Easter pictures this year, I decided to use the yellow and gray chevron blanket as a backdrop and a white rug for him to sit on. For props I had a couple eggs on sticks, plastic eggs, and an Easter themed handkerchief.

Fort Griswold Battlefield State Park
Today Em and I decided to randomly visit Fort Griswold in Groton, CT after we had a failed Mystic trip. It ended up being a really cool place to go! At the park you can see the monument, The Ebenezer Avery House, go through the covered way (basically a stone tunnel), and much more! Below are pictures that I took (besides the ones of me that Em took) -
Some tips if you want to visit:
- Wear walking shoes! Some of the paths are rocky, so be careful while on those.
- If you bring your dog, adhere to the rules and keep them leashed. Also make sure you are cleaning up after them!
- It can be windy up there so make sure to dress accordingly and bring a hair tie to keep your hair out of your face.

St Patrick's Day Shoot
I couldn't resist doing a St Patrick's shoot with Brady when I saw a picture of a dog with this green bowtie on Pinterest! I went to Amazon looking for if not the exact one, then something similar - but luckily I was able to find the one I wanted. For other props I used his green tie dye handkerchief and the clover door decoration. I had him lay on a white rug and for backdrops I used a white sheet and a light green sheet. I started with the white but found that he was blending in with it so I switched to the green.
Going in, I was a bit worried that I didn't have enough props. However, I think I made good use of the props I did have.

International Women's Day Shoot - 2019
Since today is International Women's day, Emily and I decided to do a quick last minute Rosie the Riveter shoot. We already had the outfit and bandana so it didn't take too long to style her hair up in the typical Rosie style and wear something vaguely similar to Rosie's outfit. We also decided on a simple and natural makeup look. I had her pose in front of my yellow bedroom wall and we obviously had to do the typical Rosie pose. Here are the shots -
We want to do a more in depth Rosie shoot in the future so with this one we just focused on Rosie's look and pose from the poster.
