Elizabeth Park

 Elizabeth Park in Hartford, Connecticut is a great place to go during the spring/summer time when the flowers are in full bloom. The park has a few different gardens which include flowers like tulips, roses, and perennials. There is also a cafe that you can stop in and grab a drink or a bite to eat while exploring the area. Elizabeth Park also has a few ponds and stone bridges as well. Like Wickham Park, Elizabeth Park can also be used as a wedding venue. This would be the perfect place to hold a lovely spring wedding.

If you go, parking is free and abundant. Like most of my other posts, if you plan on visiting, I would recommend that you wear walking shoes - as there is a lot of walking involved in a park of this size.
